No profit last night, but we at least got to 3–0 on the week for college football.
More of that, another college basketball underdog, and…nothing else. Still need to catch up on NHL and NBA futures.
Tulane at Memphis
I don’t trust Memphis either, and I think the CFP committee overranked them because of familiarity, but I don’t think Brendon Lewis is worth ten points.
Pick: Memphis –3.5 (–106). 3.62 units to win 3.42.
UIC at Oregon State
It’s easy to overestimate Oregon State because they’re likable and used to be in a power conference. Meanwhile, UIC quietly put together a roster that could win the MVC. Could. But still.
Pick: UIC to win +215. 2.20 units to win 4.73.

I am only roughly 90% confident in these numbers. At some point we’ll get that Google Sheet up which tracks all our bets this year.
2025–26: –468.23 units (started with 1,000-unit bankroll)
2025–26: –6% average ROI (weighted by unit; sample size: 883 single-game markets plus four completed futures portfolios)
Pre-2025: 0% average ROI (worse when limited to only sports)
Units taken from best odds we can find at major sportsbooks available to most Americans.
