Overall, the results have been mixed, with an average return on investment, per pick, of –0.7% when weighting by confidence (1 for low, 2 for medium, 3 for high) across 5,957 published picks, not including pending futures, and an average return on investment, per pick, of +2.2% across 2,249 completed high and medium-confidence picks (low confidence picks, these days, are in experimental markets for us).

We use Movelor heavily to make college football picks. We use kenpom heavily to make college basketball picks. We use FPI heavily to make NFL futures picks, but not spreads and totals.
We’re only going to do college basketball tonight, but we’ll try to have our college football futures and NFL futures out early enough tomorrow to make up for this malpractice.

Gonzaga vs. UCLA
UCLA looked impressive against Marquette, and all the more impressive given what Marquette went on to do its next two games. Gonzaga is not the Gonzaga we saw in 2021. Still, even if this ends up being one of Mick Cronin’s best coaching jobs, the Zags should be the better team, and by enough that it’s not unlikely they can make this a three-possession final score. We like Gonzaga to make its free throws down the stretch.
