The Five Longest Wikipedia Pages

Wikipedia has a page called “Long Pages,” which either lists the longest Wikipedia pages (in terms of bytes, not words) or has me fooled. Behold. The top five.

5. Richard Childress Racing

I wouldn’t have guessed this, but I wouldn’t have guessed any of these. Stu says they’ve had a lot of cars in each of the nationally-touring divisions. Surprisingly, the Dale Earnhardt section isn’t a big part of the piece. Kevin Harvick gets more words.

4. List of Joe Biden 2020 presidential campaign endorsements

Kind of funny (of course someone took the time to keep this updated). Not that surprising. 733 citations in this guy.

3. List of Hallmark Channel Original Movies

This makes sense when you think about it (I’m still stuck on how the RCR page got that long). The quantity of production. Alexander Hamilton, back the heck up.

2. Tawag ng Tanghalan (season 4)

I have a lot of questions, the first one being, “What is Tawag ng Tanghalan?” and the second one being, “What made the fourth season of Tawag ng Tanghalan so particularly full of content?

1. List of later historians of the Crusades

As with Hallmark, this makes sense. The Crusades went on forever, yet are specific enough to not be spun off into smaller pages (“Genocides in history” is the 11th-longest, and “List of people killed by and disappeared during the Brazilian military dictatorship” is 10th, both of which are things that also meet this tragic intersection of magnitude and specificity). Also, there’s been a lot of time for people to write about them. World War II’s not 100 years old yet.
