Iowa State Flattened by Texas Tech—Two Thoughts

1. No surprises here.

It was swift. It was merciless. I guess Iowa State only turned it over 13 times, so that was nice.

Not a shocker. ISU lost in Lubbock.

2. One shot left.

It isn’t a bad chance. Kansas State’s a bad team. But Iowa State is worse. At least on paper, playing the Wildcats in Manhattan. That’s the bookend to this season. After the Iowa loss, we thought Iowa State would beat Kansas State and at least wallow rather than sinking to the center of the earth. They didn’t. Now, a whole bunch of games later, here we are. Big day Saturday…or is it? Does it really make a difference if they win that one? I still feel like it does. Might be wrong, though. Guess it’s a personal preference thing.
