Giancarlo Stanton Still Has the Hardest-Hit Ball This Season

A little less than two months ago, when Giancarlo Stanton was returning to injury, I wrote about how despite having only put four balls in play all year, he had the single hardest-hit ball of the season.

He still does.

While in his abbreviated return he added only 14 batted balls to his Statcast sample, neither he nor anyone else has managed to put a ball in play with a higher exit velocity than that of his Opening Day single.

Here’s the list, which isn’t necessarily the ten hardest-hit balls, but includes the ten guys whose respective hardest-hit balls were hit the hardest:
