*happy dog noises*
oh h*ck indeed, guys. do you see that? water came out of nowhere. mean water. tricky water. sneaky water. fun water.
i had never been in the water before wednesday. i’d gotten baths (lot of ‘em lately—see last week’s notes on the poop-related crimes), but a swim? not for me. closest i’d come was barking at a river because it was a river and i wanted to bark at it.
anyway, a good friend of mine organized a little pool day for us pups on wednesday, and let me tell you, did i have fun.
did you know you can splash in a pool?
did you know you can jump in a pool?
did you know you can high-step around in a pool?
did you know you can sploosh down into a pool?
did you know you can watch your friends swim in a pool?
did you know you can splash in a pool?
did you know you can come out and SHAKE YOUR BODY ALL OVER in a pool?
i did not.
i learned all of those things.
i enjoy all of those things.
i would like to say, if anyone knows how to swim, please tell me. it is difficult for me right now, but i think i would like to try. after all, i look so dignified in the water. look at me, up there. the dogification of grace itself.
ok, it is time to go now. i am going to howl at nothing and then fall asleep.
